If there was one thing I never wanted to do with a Cinema Wasteland show, it was hold the same reunion twice. Especially when it came to DAWN OF THE DEAD. After we ran the world’s first DAWN reunion back in 2000, I attended several poorly organized DAWN reunions all over the country, so it was more or less a dead idea for me to ever run another. I guess fans had other ideas because every time some other con promoter would run some sort of DAWN reunion, we’d get calls and emails begging us to “do it again and see if you can’t find some new faces to go along with the principal cast.” You get that same call or email a couple hundred times from fans who actually attend your show and it has a way of changing your thinking, so I considered it. It was pretty much a go when I invited Gaylen Ross, who I couldn’t find five years earlier, and uncovered a few other cast members who weren’t with us the first time around.
