A blonde with a bad boob job brings back the soul of a dead black militant serial killer when she decides to play with a Ouija board. Now trapped in the body of a ventriloquist doll, our trash talking three foot killer sets out to cause havoc and chase tail. Nope, not good by any stretch, but if you were a fan of the original shot on video turd of the same name, you’ll get more enjoyment out of this film than anyone has the right to. Includes trailers, commentary, and behind the scenes footage.

Ten solid action, exploitation, and martial arts movies in one 3 disc collection. Jim Brown takes on the Japanese in PACIFIC INFERNO (1979), while Richard Roundtree grapples with thugs in MIAMI COPS (1989). Ron O’Neal teams with Roundtree in the action film MERCENARY FIGHTERS (1988) while Ajita Wilson and Linda Blair butt heads in SAVAGE ISLAND (1985). Steve James becomes a STREET HUNTER (1990), while director Antonio Margherti shows former boxer Marvin Hagler how to get mean in INDIO (1989). Hong Kong action import MAFIA VS NINJA (1984) brings a little kung fu action to the mix, while Jim Kelly kicks ass in KILL FACTOR (1978) aka Death Dimension. You also get director Bitto Albertini’s BLACK EMMANUELLE 2 (1976) and Fred “The Hammer” Williamson in director Umberto Lenzi’s BLACK COBRA 4: DETECTIVE MALONE (1990) wraps things up in fine Euro-import style.There are a couple flicks that may be a bit suspect as far as calling them “blaxploitation” movies, but most of the movies in this set are uncommon to find on DVD and you do get a few decent imports added to the mix, making the collection well worth the money as a whole. aka The Vampire People. Marco, resident Philippino vampire, hangs out with his dwarf assistant. Together, they seek to reanimate Marco’s long lost love by infusing her with the blood of his victims. He realizes it may be better to just go after her twin sister and go for a heart transplant to make things easier all around. Jewel thieves are using a Viet Nam war vet with a transmitter implanted in his skull to steal stuff for them… Or something like that anyway. With Kent Taylor, John Carradine, Regina Carrol, and ex-Disney star Tommy Kirk. An amazingly incoherent mess of a movie even by director Al Adamson’s standards this thing started out as Psycho-A-Go-Go in 1965. New scenes were shot and added in 1971 and it was once again released as Fiend With the Electric Brain. Even more scenes were filmed and added in 1971 (hence our dates listed after the movie title) and the title was once again changed to Blood of Ghastly Horror. It’s a drive-in clunker that needs to be seen to be believed! Now out of print DVD.

Writer and director Glen Coburn’s spoof of drive-in horror and exploitation films finds an alien force taking over the townspeople of a rural Texas town and transforming them into bloodthirsty zombies while a photographer and his girlfriend attempt to make sense of everything. Frequently funny characters, a swipe or two at ornery rednecks and the moron military, and Pat Paulson as The President all add up to a good time! Glen just mastered this DVD from the only 35mm print struck, so it looks as good as you’ll find. Also includes “The Bloodsucker Reunion” documentary with cast and crew. DVD

Jeff Leiberman’s drive-in classic about people going crazy ten years after taking some bad acid never looked better than this new anamorphic widescreen transfer. This special, limited edition 2-disc set also includes the original soundtrack on CD, running commentary by Leiberman, trailer, photos and stills, interview with Jeff Lieberman, short film “The Ringer” and more! The original pressing of this disc sold out fast, so you may not be able to find it everywhere. DVD

Harlan Ellison’s post-apocalyptic story of a young man (Don Johnson) and his telepathic dog, Blood. They roam what’s left of America attempting to scrounge food, water, and safety. He stumbles across an underground recreation of middle-class society run by Alvy Moore and Jason Robards, and is promptly put to work as a stud for the town’s women. He escapes with Susan Benton back to the surface world, where faithful Blood and a twist ending await. This out of print DVD contains commentary and the original trailer.
