It’s not long before Cheryl realizes that the hideous Ogre that haunted her dreams since childhood actually lives in the basement of the house she and her family are staying in. Nobody believes her, naturally, but after the babysitter winds up dead and her child goes missing, they begin to see things differently. Not a sequel to the Demons films, but titled as such because it was directed by Lamberto Bava. More a dark fantasy film and thriller with horror elements. Long out of print DVD.

Flesh-eating mutants are now hot on their scent and it looks like no one is coming home from this vacation hell. Quite good for recent horror, and it wasn’t a waste of time, piss poor sequel to boot! Al Adamson hatchet job started out life as a reedited version of Svengali, released in 1974 with some new footage added as the soft sex Satan flick, Lucifer’s Women. More new footage with John Carradine was added to turn it into a Satanic vampire movie, and presto, Dr. Dracula was born! Confused? Then you probably don’t know much about Independent International Pictures... But you should, so start with any of the Al Adamson films until you get through as many as you can find. Includes original trailer for Lucifer’s Women, a rare spook show promo, and plenty of other Al Adamson movie trailers. Tough to find DVD.

Dr. Phibes (Vincent Price) awakens from a decade long slumber and heads to Egypt with his faithful assistant, the corpse of his dead wife, and a plan to resurrect his beloved spouse. Hot on his trail is Biederbeck (Robert Quarry), another guy interested in what Phibes has hidden away in Egypt. Just as much fun as the original film. Uncut, widescreen print with trailer. When a madman plots to overthrow the world by unleashing bubonic plague infected rats throughout the population, it’s up to The Doll Squad, an elite band of female commandos led by Francine York, who are every bit as deadly as they are beautiful to stop the madman from unleashing his plague. This action-adventure exploitation flick from director Ted V. Mikels was a forerunner to the popular Charlie's Angels TV series and is one of Mikels best films. Includes commentary by Ted Mikels, an interview with Tura Satana who was one of the Doll Squad members, as well as a Mikels filmography and trailer. Out of print Image release DVD.

A couple of 60s Drive-In and Grindhouse nudie-camp-horror-classics that will make you laugh, cry... and scratch your head in amazement! In THE BEAST THAT KILLED WOMEN, a couple scurry off to a Miami nudist camp at pretty much the exact same time a goofy-looking gorilla with an appetite for the ladies spreads murder and panic through the camp. In THE MONSTER OF CAMP SUNSHINE we find nature camp gardener Hugo taking a drink from a contaminated stream. Seems somebody spilled a chemical that releases the killer instinct in rats into the water and now Hugo transforms into an axe wielding psycho who attacks the campers. Packed with shorts, extras, trailers and more! Now out of print DVD.

Creepy and atmospheric Euro-horror with Klaus Kinski was based on stories by Edgar Wallace, the guy who wrote the original King Kong and several murder thrillers. Originally produced as THE BLUE HAND, the story has Kinski playing twins. One is an insane killer who kills people with a garden-claw like weapon, and the other an innocent victim. Roger Corman purchased the original film and released it under the title of THE CREATURE WITH THE BLUE HAND. Sam Sherman at Independent International picked up the movie for it’s video release, decided to add some extra blood and gore to the film, and released it to video under the title THE BLOODY DEAD. Cult makeup and effects man, Ed French, did the extra gore and plays the main lunatic in the added opening asylum scenes. In addition to the inserted asylum scene, Sam Sherman inserted gore into all of the films existing murder scenes. Included here are both version of the film as they were released to US markets over the years. Includes commentary from Sam Sherman, trailers, and more. Out-of-print DVD.

A couple of imprisoned gargoyles are set loose by a mediocre children’s magician in GARGOYLE GIRLS, and life will never be the save for the poor guy. Out of print DVD.

Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello and Fabian trade in their beach towels for monkey wrenches in FIREBALL 500. And except for the road race theme, it’s pretty much a beach movie with wheels. Fabien and Annette return for THUNDER ALLEY, as two stock car racers who find love on and off the racetrack while Fabian tries to get over the accident that caused the death of another driver. Both are widescreen versions, uncut as far as I could tell. Now out of print DVD.
