Young and attractive college student, Melissa, travels to Holfen to spend the holiday’s at her Uncle Conrad’s castle. There she finds her uncle cold and dismissive and her aunt Ingred bitter and constantly drunk; reliving the time Conrad killed his brother Andros after he found him banging her over and over. Seems that Conrad is a disciple of the infamous Dr. Orloff (who gained an “f” in his name since the first film) and has turned Andros into a human automation that seeks out and kills strippers, prostitutes, and various ladies of the evening that Conrad gives a strange necklace transmitter to. Yep, it’s a weird one from cult director Jess Franco. That’s for sure. It’s also long out of print. Contains the original French and Italian trailers and over ten minutes of alternate and deleted footage as a bonus. DVD

Independent horror anthology film features five horror stories that star a Playboy model and some guy who won some sort of scripted “reality” TV show; but does features pretty good effects. Includes commentary, additional scenes, and behind-the-scenes stuff. DVD

The fourth disc features a brand new documentary, Roy Frumkes’ “Document of the Dead” - The original Dawn documentary, on set home movies and a special Monroeville Mall tour with actor Ken Foree. Originally titled LOVE CAMP and released cut on video years ago as LOVE CULT, this exploitation import finds Laura Gemser (the Black Emanuelle series, hence the title change) as “The Divine One” in a sex-crazed love cult. Doing Gemser’s bidding is singing hippie recruiter Dorian. It may be all peace and love on the outside, but money and (soft-core) corruption is the real name of the game for this cult. Can the sexy innocents escape the clutches of the evil cult, or are they doomed to sped their life under their rule? Give this uncut exploitation oddity a view to find out. Be careful what you wish for when you come across a Djinn. Seems they’re very good at twisting your words around in Robert Kurtzman’s fun horror outing, WISHMASTER. The Djinn is released again in WISHMASTER 2 and he’s out to plunge Earth into chaos this time around! DVD

SATAN’S BLACK WEDDING (1975) and CRIMINALLY INSANE (1975) - Best known for grim and gritty soft sex features shot in the 60s and 70s, director Nick Phillips put his feet into horror and exploitation territory twice in 1975 and came up with two cult classics in the process. In SATAN’S BLACK WEDDING Mark heads off to the left coast after the sudden death of his sister. He learns that she was researching a book about Satanism and spent lots of time at an abandoned church outside of town. Mark finds out she’s still there and Satan has plans for him as well. In the cult classic CRIMINALLY INSANE, 300 pound “Crazy Fat Ethel” Janowski has just been released from a mental institution to live with her grandmother. After grandma locks away the food so Ethel will stop stuffing her face, she murders the old lady. It isn’t long before Ethel becomes a killer who won’t let anybody come between her and her stomach... But what is she going to do with the bodies that are starting to pile up in the spare bedroom?... It’s the classic horror-mystery, “Santo en el Museo de Cera” available uncut. plus, Santo and Blue Demon team up once again to visit the Land of Death in “Santo y Blue Demon en el Mundo de los Muertos.” Both films are in Spanish, without subs, but the stories are fun and easy enough to follow. DVD
